  98.   ASR-DOS is the child of many years of working with TBBS systems remotely,
  99.  and the frustrations that have been generated when the only way to perform an
  100.  operation was to take the system down and spend hours walking someone on site
  101.  through the DOS processes.

  103.   This product was designed to allow the TBBS system to do what it does best,
  104.  stay online!  There have been so many times that I have had to take my system
  105.  down when all of my lines were full, just to make a simple change to a .ctl
  106.  file or to edit a pdir.

  108.   This system gives you the ability to completely navigate and run your BBS
  109.  without ever leaving the DOS prompt.  After just a few hours of working in

  148.   FileMan is the most complete and easy to use file management system for
  149.  TBBS. With features that include FileOp designation, script file downloading,
  150.  UL/DL Ratio enforcement, point and tag, file description editing online, 1024

  206.   SYSMON is a realtime remote sysops control system. Designed to look and work
  207.  just like the TBBS 2.2 console, sysmon can be configured to handle up to 65
  208.  lines including the console. Sysmon can also be used by your regular callers
  209.  as a system overview and alarm watch system.  Many features including
  210.  complete system usage logging and duplicate user logging and drop.  Version
  211.  4.1 now supports EGA43 line mode to display all 65 lines on screen at once.
  212.  Now SYSMON interfaces PROFMAN, SUPER CHAT and GOTOCMD.  The SUPER CHAT
  213.  interface allows sysmon to completely monitor chat activities.

  248.   The commercial TDBS application programming arena has become very
  249.  sophisticated from it's humble beginnings.  This industry boasts some of the
  250.  most elabroate and complex online programming being used in the BBS 3rd party
  251.  industry.  Because of the richness of the TDBS programming langauge and the
  252.  flexibility of the TBBS environment, TBBS systems have had the ability to be
  253.  the most unique and powerful systems around and when enhanced by the numerous
  254.  3rd party TDBS applications that are available today, these systems have

  311.   This is a simulation of what it may be like to be a system operator on one
  312.  of the larger data services in the nation. It is not designed to be 100%
  313.  accurate or resemble any one BBS. The problems and situations found in this
  314.  program are the result of many years of running a BBS.  Most of the users
  315.  that you will find in this simulation will not take up any of your time, as
  316.  do many actual users. The select few that will use up your time are the ones
  317.  to watch. They will be giving you the most trouble.

  319.   Don't be so eager to lock out a user or erase his mail. Bad things can
  320.  happen if you get a reputation as a censor or make the wrong person mad at
  321.  you. It may even get to the point that you will be forced to take your system

  336.   VS-NET is not just a piece of software but a international game network for
  337.  ASR's "The Virtual Sysop Game".  This is the 1st TBBS game that allows your
  338.  system to compete and participate with other TBBS systems all over the world
  339.  for international system/player ranking.

  341.   Because of the runaway success of The Virtual Sysop Game, and the nature of
  342.  the game lending very well to inter-system competition, international player

  363.   Based on "King of the Board" door for PCBoard/Wildcat which was first made
  364.  into a TDBS game by Judah Holstein.
  365.  
  366.   This is a game that allows you to challange any player in a pyramid that is
  367.  displayed on the screen. You may challange anyone 3 postions ahead of you in
  368.  the grid or if you are not on the grid because there are more than 29 players
  369.  you may challange players in the 27 thru 29 position. If you answer the
  370.  question correctly you exchange places with the person you challanged.
  371.  
  372.   The format of the answer is shown to you with asterisks (*).  Spaces and
  373.  special characters - ie: "!@#$%^&*()-" are shown to you to help make guessing
  374.  the answer a little easier.  After each guess, you will be shown an updated
  375.  format that includes the letters in your answer that you got right (in the
  376.  correct position) to help you get it right the next time. The object, of
  377.  course, is to get to the top of the pyramid and become the King!

  386.   Party Assist is a program designed to automate the notification, RSVP and
  387.  party location delivery to your user for the ever popular BBS Party that most
  388.  public social boards have from time to time.  This will allow you to display
  389.  information about your event to the user during logon, and then prompt the
  390.  user for an RSVP and also allow the user to VIEW or DOWNLOAD the directions
  391.  or a map to your event.

  400.   Fake-Dos is a compulation of program prototypes that where used for testing
  401.  of application and game ideas.  These prototypes or 'old code', have been put
  402.  together into one program that uses a DOS 6.2 interface to give the
  403.  appearence of dos and dos executable programs.  This, to the would be hacker,
  404.  who ACCIDENTIALLY discovered your sysop dos access, would give a realistic
  405.  feeling of being in dos, complete with 6 dos games (.EXE), complete dos
  406.  command set, format.exe and unformat.exe and various utility programs.  Its
  407.  interesting to see which users tell you that you messed up and made your dos
  408.  access accessible, and which users 'TEST' the format command!

  417.   UC-Express if a free product of Advanced Systems Research that will enable
  418.  your UltraChat system to overcome the 'Window of opportunity' delay that is
  419.  normally part of Ultrachat.  This means that when a user sends a private
  420.  message or a chat page to someone who is outside of ultrachat, that the user
  421.  will receive it immediately, unless that user is in a file transfer or some
  422.  other operation that would make receiving the message impossible.
  423.  
  424.   UC-Express does this by running as a ghost task and interfacing ASR's
  425.  remarkable TDBS Host interface 'MONITOR'.  By use of the Monitor TSR,
  426.  UC-Express parses Ultrachats SEND files to send a formatted message to the
  427.  intended line along with any user message that was entered in UltraChat.

  429.   UC-Express can be configured to provide log file logging of its operation.

  439.   UCGOTO is a free program of Advanced Systems Research that is intended to
  440.  interface ASR's GOTO COMMAND program to UltraChat.  This will allow your
  441.  users to JUMP to anywhere in your system that you have configured GOTO
  442.  COMMAND for, and still buffer UltraChat and then take them back to UltraChat
  443.  when they exit the function or program they where using.
  444.  
  445.   This will eliminate the restriction of 9 DOTBBS and 9 EXITBBS commands that
  446.  are currently part of UltraChat, and allow you to configure an unlimited
  447.  number of external commands and accesses to your ultrachat.
  448.  
  449.   UCGOTO works with either the registered or demo version of GOTO COMMAND and
  450.  must be setup in the GOTO COMMAND directory.

  459.   Come-2-Chat is a free program that allows you the sysop to configure a
  460.  command in Ultrachat that will enable your users a command that they can use
  461.  to request a line or the entire system to come to the chat area that they are
  462.  in.
  463.  
  464.   This program was designed because several of my customers who run chat
  465.  systems, wished to encourage the use of chat on there systems and wished that
  466.  there was an easy way for someone who was along in chat to be able to get a
  467.  chat going with one or more people.
  468.  
  469.   Come-2-Chat requires the ASR TDBS Host Interface "MONITOR TSR".  Come-2-Chat
  470.  works by simulating a F4 Keystroke on the console and then using TBBS'
  471.  console message broadcast feature to send a preformated message to a specific
  472.  user or to the entire system.

  481.   The UCHELP 1.0 ultrachat interface is a free program that allows you to
  482.  create extended help information on the commands used in your ultrachat
  483.  configuration.  This will allow a user to see extended information regarding
  484.  the use of the commands that are used in your ultrachat configuration.
  485.
